With over 25 years of experience, Mercury has achieved local recognition that continues to echo throughout the Gulf region. Founded in 1985, Mercury Contracting Centre is the Kingdom of Bahrain’s leading firm in the fields of waterproofing, heat insulation, lightweight concrete, fire protection and lake lining. After undertaking the largest and most challenging projects in Bahrain, Mercury plans to expand into other markets in the region.

In 2008, Mercury received the ISO 9001 – 2000 certification, further proving its commitment to unsurpassed quality. This level of achievement is accomplished by maintaining remarkable levels of services that clients are accustomed to.

In early 2009, Mercury entered the Abu Dhabi market by performing the waterproofing, heat insulation and light weight concrete services of the renowned Yas Island Race Track, home to the Formula One Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. Mercury worked alongside the consultant Tilke & Partners in this project to design and modify systems for special areas of the development.
