Importance of Waterproofing

Damage caused by poor water protection is the second major cause of a building’s decay and deterioration. A concrete structure needs suitable waterproofing, as concrete itself will never be entirely watertight on its own. Water entering or escaping from any structure will cause undesired effects and risks. If the problem persists, damage to the structure, building material and contents is inevitable. Furthermore, projects with inadequate protection from water leakages have a considerably shorter life span when exposed to moisture
or emersion over a prolonged period of time.

The Mercury Novel System

Developed by our engineering staff in 1996, the Mercury Novel System has received industrial recognition for its durability and costeffectiveness. The system consists of heat insulation, waterproofing as well as lightweight concrete, and gives up to 25 years guarantee on material and workmanship. Approximately 150,000m² is covered by the Mercury Novel System every year.
